Crewe Vagrants Squash and Racketball (now called Squash 57), provides a sociable and friendly atmosphere where players of all abilities and all ages can enjoy playing one of the best sports in the world for health and fitness.
With a current membership of around 120 representing a range of ages from 5 to 85, we can confidently say that there are people to play whatever your age or standard.
There are 3 courts available, two glass back courts and one standard court, all of which can be booked via our online system. There are also pre-booked sessions for specific reasons, details of which you can find at the bottom of the home page of this site.
Our Charity event run in memory of Tony Higley, raising money for the Britsh Heart Foundation was a massive success raising over £3,000.
The well attended finals day on Saturday 14 December did not disappoint the spectators with some very close fought matches, none moreso than the Plate and Squash 57 finals. Up and coming Junior Josh Anderson-Gaze came from 2-0 down to beat experienced Oliver Jones in the plate. After a match lasting the best part of an hour Nabs Tinarwo overcame a tough opponent in Ian Furlonger winning 11-9 in the fifth.
The Hudson father and son duo retained their relevant categories.
Cath Woodhart won the inagurial Ladies Championship beating Lucy Jones in another tight encounter.
