Crewe Vagrants Squash and Racketball (now called Squash 57), provides a sociable and friendly atmosphere where players of all abilities and all ages can enjoy playing one of the best sports in the world for health and fitness.
With a current membership of around 150 representing a range of ages from 5 to 85, we can confidently say that there are people to play whatever your age or standard.
There are 3 courts available, two glass back courts and one standard court, all of which can be booked via our online system. There are also pre-booked sessions for specific reasons, details of which you can find on the home page of this site.
A range of membership options are available to suit age groups and the time of day members want to play. Membership is paid annually in advance starting on 1st September each year. Court booking and light fees are included in the annual cost but match levies for team players are not.
To qualify for a student membership you must be under 21 years of age and in full time education, to qualify for a junior membership you must be under 18 years of age. For these membership types and for adult membership there is a choice to be made between Peak or Off Peak.
Peak periods are from the 17.00/17.20 courts up to and including the 21.00/21.20 courts, Monday to Friday inclusive. Only full/peak members may use courts during these times. Members must have Peak membership to enter the club leagues or play for teams.

These sessions are open to both club members and non-club members with a cost of £2.00 per child per session for non-members with their first taster session being provided for free.
The content of the sessions varies, and are designed to be fun, with games and competitions, which together with progressive coaching, will develop young players from beginners to adults.
Aimed at 5-11 year olds, Squash Stars is an exciting programme that builds fundamental skills and confidence, encouraging kids to reach for the stars on and off court. This six-week junior beginner’s programme focuses on guiding children to collect stardust in skills such as hand-eye coordination, racket work, movement, balance and match play.
Each Squash Stars session is led by a trained leader and will give children the chance to explore, play, and make friends in a fun and safe setting.

We frequently receive questions from both members and people from outside the club who are interested in playing one of the varieties of squash.
In this section we have tried to answer as many of these as we can but if your question is not here, please use the Contact Us form to get in touch.
